Why Recycle Candles?

Why did we start this program?

As our business is located in San Jose, California, we’ve seen many businesses around us take steps to help the environment, and we wanted to do our part. We are often asked about what to do with candle jars once you’re left with that little bit of wax. 

Our new year policy has been updated! You may still have your beloved ceramic containers refilled. As the refill process is delicate and precise, we encourage you to have more than one ceramic jar to be filled at a time. 

Candle Recycling in San Jose - How Does it Work?

So, how does it work?

Every Ceramic candle vessel from Migi Cera Candle Co. is made from high-quality materials and is guaranteed for long shelf life. Of course, we sell candles in glass jar vessels as well, but ceramic is sturdier and less likely to break during the refilling process. For that reason, we only offer our recycling process for the ceramic vessels and excludes our glass jars. 

You will have two different ways to get the old jars back to us. 

The first option is to simply ship the empty ceramic jars back to our location in San Jose. This may be an easier choice for our customers located outside of the Bay Area.

Oh, and did we mention? If you participate in our recycling program, your new candle is 50% off.
